WWE Friday Night Smack Down!

C.M. Punk vs. Mr Kennedy

Before I begin, I must admit that it's rather odd that I'm doing this for the 33rd straight week right now and it is also the week of 3/3. Hmm... There's something in those threes. I just don't know what it is.

Well, I have selected this match mainly by default yet again, but it comes with several interesting talking points.

First off, why does WWE.com only have one picture from this whole match, yet they have four or five pictures of MizTV? That makes no sense to me. Second, why are either of these guys losing clean so close to Wrestlemania? It's not really good for C.M. Punk to lose clean to Mr. Kennedy, as both are in Money In The Bank and now it just appears as if Punk will not be winning it. (Though he'd be my pick for favorite) Also, this is kind of an interesting match because it took C.M. Punk out of his element on ECW and put him onto Smack Down!. This just begs the question of what would happen in ECW were to go away. Well... I guess the answer is kind of obvious now and if C.M. Punk was still left under contract with WWE, he'd most likely just be a jobber on the Friday night show taped on Tuesdays. Why couldn't this have ended in a DQ or double count out or something? Why did it have to be clean?

It just shows me that WWE doesn't know how to effectively use C.M. Punk and should he get the chance, he should leave WWE as soon as possible. It was, however, still a good match, as both of these superstars are great athletes. I don't know. It was good and bad at the same time, and I suppose that is why it won. Also so WWE does not forget.
