Carlito & Super Crazy vs. Kenny Dykstra & Chris Masters

It was an otherwise lackluster week in professional wrestling. Following the Royal Rumble, RAW saw John Cena and Shawn Michaels pick up tag gold together, The World's Greatest Tag Team fought Cryme Tyme, Melina vs. Mickie James, Umaga crushed Val Venis and for some reason Jeff Hardy defended the IC Title against Khali.

On Tuesday opposite ECW, Wrestling Society X premiered on Mtv. Matt Sydal and Jack Evans had a good match, and even the main event battle royal was all right, but neither could win this spot. ECW had Matt Striker vs. C.M. Punk, RVD vs. Hardcore Holly (Yes, again) and for the third straight time, Lashley fought Test. Boring.

TNA Impact! reignited the feud with A.J. Styles and Samoa Joe, while also showcasing some X Division talent with a match between Sonjay Dutt, Jerry Lynn, Austin Aries, Alex Shelley and Jay Lethal. Nothing worthy of winning this week though.

WWE Friday Night Smack Down! had Deuce & Domino win a non-title match against The HooliganZ, The Miz defeated Matt Hardy (seriously?), Chris Benoit fought Finlay and Ken Kennedy fought Vito. An all around boring edition of FNSD, with the main eventers for WM23 taking the main event spot in... a promo, not a match. Blah.

So in a week full of this, young RAW superstars who are the future, you have managed to win a coveted spot here. Enjoy it while it lasts.
